Harry Styles And Miley Cyrus Pay Tribute To The Manchester Attack Victims On Stage

They sent love and solidarity to all those affected.

The victims of the suicide bomb attack on Ariana Grande fans caught in the foyer of her Manchester Arena show this week are in all our thoughts right now, and that includes musicians Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus, who both paid tribute to the victms and their families, and sent messages of solidarity as they took to the stage the night following the event.

With 22 dead and over 50 injured, it's pretty hard to get your head around what's happened and with both musicians having gigs to play last night, they wanted to take a moment to remember all those who've been affected.

As a Manchester native, Harry was very far from home last night and had a performance scheduledin Los Cabos, Mexico. Deciding to pare back his performance,he also asked fans to come together for a moment of silence.

Speaking to fans at the show, hesaid: "I have played some of my favourite shows in Mexico and it felt right to come celebrate with you. But tonight, it doesn't feel like a night to celebrate. Last night there was a tragedy in my home town of Manchester. I am left with a hole in my heart. I went to my first show in that arena and I've have some of my best experiences in my life in Manchester.

"We have a choice every single day that we wake up of what you can put into the world, and I ask you to please choose love every single day. I promise that we will be back very soon to Mexico - we will be back to do a full show. But tonight, if it's okay with you, we're gonna play a small acoustic set. I hope you understand and I hope you will join me in a moment of silence for all the victims and their families.

"Thank you for understanding, I love you very much."

Both the victims and Ariana were also in Miley's thoughts too and as she took to the stage on the final of The Voice, she said: "I would like to dedicate this performance to my good friend Ariana Grande and everyone who experienced the horrific attack yesterday. Our hearts are with you."

These follow tributes from many other influential figures including Lana Del Rey, who took to Instagram to share a handwritten note she'd penned to Ariana and those coming to terms with the attack.

Our thoughts are with everyone who's been affected by the events in Manchester.
