Harry Styles and Taylor Swift are reportedly friends again after the One Direction hunk heard her new album 1989.

According to Us Weekly, Hazza reached out to his ex-girlfriend after listening to songs she allegedly penned about him on her chart-topping LP.

[related]It is thought tracks Out Of The Woods and the thinly veiled Style are all about her romance with the 1D star, which ended in January 2013.

Speaking of their rekindled friendship, a source told the mag: "They have become pals", while another insider dished: "Taylor has been bragging to her trainer and celeb friends that she and Harry are talking again."

They added that Harry was 'not offended' by T-Swizzle's heartfelt tunes and instead 'reconnected' with the Shake It Off star.

The news comes following reports that the Steal My Girl singer sent 1,989 red roses to T-Swizzle to congratulate her on the success of her new album, as well as trying to 'woo' her back.

He also recently defended Taylor over using her personal experiences to write her music, telling fans during a Google Hangout: "I think we always say, when we wrote the album, that we write from personal experiences, so it would be hypocritical of us to be like 'oh you can’t write a song...'

"She's really good so... They're good songs. So I'm lucky in that sense."
