Heath Ledger Bar Opens

The late actor's Nick Drake inspired pub opens to public

A bar bought by Heath Ledger, the late actor and star of The Dark Knight, is to open this week.

Brooklyn bar Five Leaves, named after the Nick Drake album Five Leaves Left, was bought by Ledger prior to his death with his business partner Jud Mongell and is set to open to the public on Wednesday.
Mongell revealed that the Brokeback Mountain star planned to be involved in the running of the establishment, including DJing and bartending.
The bar, now funded by Heath's estate, had a small opening party for friends and family on Friday night.
Ledger was 28-years-old when he died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

His ex, Michelle Williams, and the couple's daughter, Matilda, are Brooklyn residents.
