Heath Ledger Found Dead

Heath Ledger has been found dead at his Manhattan flat, with Police suspecting he took a drugs overdose.

The 28-year-old actor- who was Oscar nominated for his role in Brokeback Mountain- recently split from partner Michelle Williams with whom he has a young daughter.

Police are investigating whether the star committed suicide after they found prescription pills around his naked body. However his father has come out saying it was not suicide and insisted it was an "accidental passing."

Heath appears in the new Batman film The Dark Knight as The Joker and was recently shooting in London for the new Terry Gilliam movie.

He stars in Bob Dylan biopic Im Not There but made his breakthrough in Mel Gibson war drama The Patriot and teen comedy Ten Things I Hate About You.
