Henry Cavill Does Ice Bucket Challenge Dressed As Superman

As Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio also get a soaking for good cause...

If you thought the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge was beginning to run out of steam, then think again.

Because today we've got four of Hollywood's biggest stars getting a soaking as they take on the charity ordeal.

Henry Cavill and his Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice co-star Amy Adams took the challenge together, with the hunk in costume as the iconic superhero.

And Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio have also accepted the challenge from their famous friends.

Cavill and Adams were filmed as they sat on the set of the sequel to Man Of Steel, with Adams doing the talking as Cavill sat there looking handsome.

But while the actress got away with a single ice bucket, Cavill was subjected to six of them in increasingly large containers - poured by a eager series of crew members.

The star was only able to break his silence at the end of the clip to proclaim: "So cold!"

Meanwhile Matt Damon picked up his challenge from his chat show host frenemy Jimmy Kimmel and his old friend Ben Affleck, but gave it his own twist.

The star of The Bourne Identity made his own point about drinking water in the developing world - by pouring toilet water over himself.

He said: "For those of you like my wife who think this is really disgusting, bear in mind that the water in our toilets in the west is actually cleaner than people in the developing world have access to."

"So as disgusting as this may seem - hopefully it'll highlight the fact that this is a big problem and we can do something about it."

And after dousing himself he nominated George Clooney, Bono and Tom Brady.

DiCaprio had been challenged to join in the fun by David Beckham last week - and picked up the baton while on a trip to Canada.

He took the challenge along with some friends in front of a big crowd in Alberta, and donated $100,000 to the cause - nominating the Prime Minister of Canada to follow suit.
