A new trailer has been released for Dwayne Johnson's forthcoming action flick Hercules.

Combining previously seen footage with fresh stuff - the new promo includes a scene where the hero is attacked with a fiery whip and another in which a massed army apparently advances into a fire.

The movie is based on graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars and sees The Rock's mythical hero teaming up with veteran British actor John Hurt - as the King of Thrace.

Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes and Rebecca Ferguson also star in the film - which hits cinemas next Friday.
