Holly Willoughby Reveals Vocal Chord Surgery

Holly Willoughby has revealed that she recently underwent surgery on her vocal chords.

The presenter of This Morning and The Voice told followers on Twitter that she'd had lumps removed from her throat with a laser.

She wrote: "Phew! Nodules gone, operation a success."

And she joked: "After Adele had hers done, she won a Grammy... Fingers crossed! Xxx."

Adele had the same operation two years ago and was forced to cancel concerts, but has since made a full recovery.

Holly last month played down the importance of her chest.
