Mean Machine star to play 'ruthless expat' in late-night soap...
Exciting news for Hollyoaks Later fans today, as Lime Pictures and E4 have announced that Danny Dyer will join the cast.
The new series, due to start filming this summer, will feature Hollyoaks stalwart Tony Hutchinson, played by Nick Pickard, battling cancer.
In a bid to face his demons, Tony organises a get-together with old pals Kurt Benson (Jeremy Edwards), Finn (James Redmond) and brother Dom (John Pickard).
But a dodgy deal for the village hard man Trevor Royle (played by Greg Wood) sees the gang fall foul of Dyer - a ruthless ex-pat known only as 'The White Man'.
Bringing his own very British brand of menace to the show, Dyer's character will cause serious problems for the Hollyoaks crowd, with high-stakes poker, Russian roulette and kidnapping all on the cards.
Jane Steventon, producer of Hollyoaks Later, said: "I'm thrilled that we have brought together such an amazing cast for this year's Later and with the addition of Danny Dyer, the adventures can really kick off."
