Hollyoaks spoilers: Lily’s Self-Harm Horror, Monday 31 July – Friday 4 August
Coming up in Hollyoaks, a horrible incident results in Lily self-harming, Ryan and Ste face off, and Scott gets a job with his secret brother.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, apaz. And Yasmine Maalik’s raging this week when Prince McQueen tells her he’s with Lily Drinkwell. But taking her rage out on Lily is really not cool.
It’s just not cricket
Except in this case, it is. Yasmine arms herself with a box of Harry Thompson’s crickets (shudder) and pours them all down her love rival’s top. Lily rips off her jumper and her scar is exposed, leaving her feeling humiliated.
Lily hurts herself
When Lily gets home, she self-harms for the first time. Oh, sweetheart. She’s left feeling even worse when Diane O’Connor tells Misbah Maalik just what Yasmine did. Diane later finds a bloodstained towel, but will she realize what’s going on with her niece? We do hope so.
Ste and Ryan clash
Across town, Tegan Lomax persuades Duncan from Blue, sorry - Ryan Knight (still not over it), to visit Ste Hay in hospital. He’s been admitted with a chest infection and, coupled with refusing to take his HIV medication, is pretty broken.
However, a fiery confrontation with Ryan may have put some pep back into Ste. We hope so, everyone knows he didn’t kill Amy Barnes, right? Yes, we know - despite confessing to it. Well of course it’s complicated: it’s Hollyoaks.
Secrets and lies
Meanwhile, Scott Drinkwell has bagged himself a job at the Duke Street Social after dazzling Damon Kinsella with a business idea. Just two leetle problems: he still hasn’t ‘fessed to Damon that they’re actually brothers, and his beach bar idea is totally stolen from Maxine Minniver.
Remember hunka hunka man Brody Hudson? Really? He literally leapt onto our screens just last week. Anyway, it turns out he’s best pals with Damon, and the two have a proper bromance going on. But instead of being pleased his brother has such a close mate, Scott tries to drive a wedge between the pair. We don’t see this ending well.
