Honey G Fails To Break The Top 100 In Humiliating Chart Failure

The North Weezy star has seemingly lost all her support from fans after limping to number 149 with her debut single

Honey G’s plans for chart domination have got off to an underwhelming start after her debut single failed to make the Top 100.

The novelty act of The X Factor 2016 had confidently performed part of her debut single during the live final of the ITV singing contest after being eliminated after the eighth week of live shows.

The fact that Honey G (real name Anna Gilford) had landed a record deal before an X Factor winner had been crowned was controversial – however all seems to have been for naught.

The rapper limped to number 149 with her debut single The Honey G Show.

The disappointing – yet not entirely unpredictable – news for Honey might be tough to swallow, but she insists more music will be coming from her.

"What I want to do is negotiate a deal. We want to make it happen,” she declared to Digital Spy earlier this month.

"I don’t think there is a specific timescale – I think they [Syco label bosses] are allowed to make two singles with me, and then if they make a third, they have to make an album," she teased.

Will 2017 be the year of the Honey G after all?
