The Hope For Haiti Now album has topped the US billboard chart on download sales alone.
The album features tracks recorded at last week’s charity telethon- which was organised by actor George Clooney and MTV.
Beyonce, Chris Martin, Madonna, U2 and Wyclef Jean all feature on the album- which has shifted 171,000 digital copies.
All money raised from the sales will go to the Haiti relief effort.
Lady GaGa revealed this week that she raised and over $500,000 to donate to the effort.
And indie legends Radiohead raised the same amount by auctioning tickets to a special gig which took place on Sunday.
