HRVY may only be two EPs into his career but he is already establishing a career for himself as one of the UK's most promising popstars. From 'Holiday' to 'I Won't Let You Down', the rising hitmaker has a knack for creating perfectly crafted pop songs.

We caught up with the 19-year-old recently to take us through the making of his Loren Gray starring 'Personal' video.

Discussing who features in the epic visual and why he chose them to take part in it, HRVY revealed: "A lot of people in this classroom are all my friends. I messaged them all and said 'do you wanna be in the music video' so they all came down to it."

He also discussed note-sharing in class:"When I was in primary school I gave someone a note but I forgot what it said. I actually got caught by one of my teachers and I said something really sarcastic to her and they ended up calling my mum in".

OMG. Don't worry HRVY, we've all been caught out by a teacher doing something like that before.

Filming the video was not all plane sailing though: "You can see that it's kind of like smokey and foggy because we had a smoke machine and we did have it for a few scenes until we set off the fire alarm [...] the fire marshals ended up coming."

Not to mention, there was abit of on-set drama: "That's Blake Grey who Loren's getting up close with and it was so funny because at that time he was with another girl in the music video [...] and everyone was watching. It was pretty intense."

That being said none of it detracts from how great the video is and the fun that HRVY had on set.

The 'Personal' music video has currently amassed a whopping 100 million views on YouTube.
