Ahoy There Hugh Jackman, That Be A Fine Moustache!
X-Men star ditches sideburns for his role as Blackbeard...
He's famous for his mutton chop sideburns when playing Wolverine in the X-Men movies - but Hugh Jackman has radically changed his face furniture for his new role.
The Aussie hunk plays Blackbeard the pirate in Joe Wright's forthcoming movie Pan, a new version of JM Barrie's Peter Pan story.
And Entertainment Weekly has released the first pic of the 46-year-old star in character along with a snap of his co-star Levi Miller.
Hugh looks almost unrecognisable with bouffant hair, a wide moustache and pointy beard - which he teams with a feather ruff and a suit of armour.
Meanwhile Miller's character poster sees him holding a cutlass as he stares soulfully at the camera.
The film also stars Garrett Hedlund as Hook - and tells how Pan and Hook began as friends working for Blackbeard. Amanda Seyfried stars as Mary with Rooney Mara playing Tiger Lily.
It is due in cinemas next June.
