Hugh Jackman Filming X-Men And Wolverine Films Back To Back?
Star reportedly set for a punishing schedule next year with two blockbusters on the slate...
Hugh Jackman will be hitting the gym hard next year if 20th Century Fox gets its way and shoots the next X-Men and Wolverine films back-to-back.
That's the plan according to producer Lauren Shuler Donner anyway - and the Aussie hunk has admitted that he would welcome the prospect.
In an interview with Donner and Jackman, Collider asked the star if he'd mind filming X-Men: Apocalypse and the sequel to The Wolverine one after another.
He replied: "No, in a weird way that has crossed my mind if that’s the way things play out, because physically, even though I was complaining about it... It's much easier because it's tough to get there, physically, but once you're there, it's easier to maintain it."
Quizzed about the shooting schedules, Donner said: "Well, we announced Apocalypse to come out in 2016, so that means we have to shoot next summer.
"And then we'd have to shoot our new Wolverine movie either before or after that. I think after because it will come out after."
X-Men: Days Of Future Past had its world premiere at the weekend.
