Hugh Jackman Treated For Skin Cancer

Hollywood star Hugh Jackmanhas revealed via social media that he has been treated for skin cancer.

The 45-year-old actor, who plays Wolverine in the X-Men movies, shared a picture of himself after he had undergone minor surgery to remove dangerous material from his nose.

He posted a picture of himself with a plaster on the end of his nose on Instagram - and confessed that his wife Deborra-Lee Furness had persuaded him to seek medical attention for a suspect growth.

He wrote: "Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right! I had a basil cell carcinoma. Please don't be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!"

Hugh is reportedly in talks to appear in another standalone Wolverine movie.
