We're used to seeing Hugh Jackman sporting bushy sideburns as he plays Wolverine in the X-Men movies, but in his next movie he'll be trying to rehabilitate an even-less fashionable hairstyle.

The Hollywood hunk, 46, plays a baddie in forthcoming sci-fi blockbuster Chappie - about the world's first thinking and feeling robot - and grew his hair into a short mullet style for the role.

Eagle-eyed music fans will also recognise insanely cool South African rap-rave group Die Antwoord in the promo, with Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er both taking supporting roles.

The movie, from District 9 director Neil Blomkamp, tells the story of inventor Deon (Dev Patel) and his robot creation - which gets kidnapped by South African criminals.

Chappie is set to hit UK cinemas next March.
