Ibiza Rocks Final Lineup!
The Twang, Go! Team, Dirty Pretty Things and Kelis mean San Antonio Bay is fast becoming a rock and soul plaice
Because of the unusual way that Ibiza Rocks book their acts - they offer bands a holiday from touring as opposed to shelling out big bucks - the final confirmed lineup for the summer has been a long time coming.
Unsurprisingly they've unveiled some surprises, not least in the form of Kelis, the R'n'B bad girl, who seems an unusual advert for rock in a dance place.
Having said this, her phat beats and massive vocals will go down a storm in San An, and with hubby Nas finishing his European tour not long before, and kick starting the US leg on the 26th, we can't help but hope he's enjoying the Ibizan hospitality with her.
Other acts who've confirmed include Brum boys The Twang, who'll be tearing through a set right in the middle of August, and the Dirty Pretty Things who'll be bringing Carl Barat with them. Nuff said.
For anyone looking for a last minute offer, we'd highly recommend booking a flight today and jetting off to enjoy CSS and The Go! Team who'll be playing Bar M next Tuesday (10th July).
All this being said, however, the night of the season is inevitably The Arctic Monkeys who are hitting town on the 1st of September, accompanied by our very own Zane Lowe on the decks. Be there or be well, like most of the rest of the world to be honest, the venue only holds 500 and so tickets to this one will be proper gold dust!
