Icona Pop shared the love for Charli XCX this weekend, as we caught up with thembackstage at V Festival.

The Swedish duo hit the number spot with Charli and hertrack 'I Love It' last year, and are thrilled she's doing so well, saying: "We're so proud of Charli XCX. She's so awesome she's great."

"We just look forward to seeing her grow bigger and bigger," they added.

The girls went on to back Iggy Azalea's Fancy featuring Charli XCX to win the Video Of The Year award at the MTV VMA's, which are held Sunday 24August.

Iggy and Charli are up against the likes of Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, Sia and Miley Cyrus in the highly coveted category, so be sure to watch this space to find out who takes home the moonman!
