Iggy Azalea Isn't A Stereotype, OK?!

Rapper has taken to Twitter to respond to comments made by Jill Scott and Eve on Sway In The Morning...

Iggy Azalea has hit back her critics, stating that she doesn’t plan onbeing the stereotype they want her to be any time soon.

It’s thought the Black Widow hitmaker was responding to comments made by Jill Scott and Eve on Sway In The Morning, with the pair saying they’d like to hear her Aussie accent on her raps rather than using a "blaccent".

Eve stated that she never had a problem with Iggy "representing” white females who have been influenced by hip-hop, but added her only issue with Azalea is that she doesn’t have her “own swag”.

Iggy has since taken to Twitter to state: "There's a difference between being yourself and being your stereotype. When people I've never met say I should act more like 'myself’.

"I feel like they're really saying "act more like how I stereotype you to be, so I can feel comfortable."

“And I hope all my young fans take what I'm saying and remember it if you ever find yourself in similar shoes.”

Azalea concluded: “Be as complex and multi-dimensional and interesting as you possibly can."
