Ashley Wins Bushtucker Trial As Limahl Exits
Ashley Roberts secures Thanksgiving meals as Limahl is voted off show...
Ashley Roberts has shown her fellow I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestants how to do a Bushtucker Trial properly - securing them eight out of a possible 10 Thanksgiving dinners after nominating herself to take on the "Terror Train" task.
The former Pussycat Dolls star put herself forward for the trial as campmates got to choose among themselves for the first time who would do it.
According to The Mirror, she said: "I know there are a few people like Helen who have been in many trials. Charlie didn't want to go up today and I just felt like it was time for me to step up to the plate."
She delved among rotting meat, fish guts, spiders, lizards, cobwebs and snakes to net her hefty haul of stars.
And she said afterwards: "I did good! I'm pleased - the snakes were terrible, the goo, the textures, darkness, cockroaches, I might rest for a few days now."
She was granted a phone call home to her mum as a reward for her bravery, as well as the dinner.
Meanwhile one-time Kajagoogoo star Limahl has become the second celeb to exit the jungle thanks to the public's votes, getting the boot in last night's live eviction.
The Daily Mail quoted him as saying afterwards: "It really is a test. Being away from home comforts, so far away from loved ones. It's a test of other personalities. That was the biggest test really."
MP Nadine Dorries was the first celeb to get the boot.
