Gemma Collins: 'I've Got Malaria... Get Me Out Of Here!'

Fluorescent poo makes Towie star think she's got tropical disease...

The only way has been to the dunny for reality TV star Gemma Collins in the early stages of this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 33-year-old The Only Way Is Essex cast member has shared her fears that she's got tropical disease malaria, because of her scary poo.

She told fellow contestant Vicki Michelle: "I feel like I've got malaria. My poo is bright fluorescent yellow. I've had the worst diarrhoea ever."

Fortunately for her malaria was wiped out in Australia more than 30 years ago.

But she has also complained that a stint in the "jungle slammer" has been "too hard" - leaving her without a proper feed.

"Even a murderer gets fed three times a day," she said.

After being told off by Craig Charles for complaining about being "starving", she bucked her ideas up.

"I've realised I must be strong," she declared.

"I pledge tonight, if I lose weight I'll be happier, that I'm never ever going to mention starving again."

In other news from the jungle, former footballer Jimmy Bullard took on the "tunnel of terror" bushtucker trial - braving a series of tanks containing critters including a water python.

But despite managing to grab four out of six stars on offer in the challenge, he then opted not to use them to get meals for his campmates but to rescue another celeb from the slammer.

They then selected former 'Allo 'Allo actress Michelle to join their team.
