Gemma Collins Quits I'm A Celebrity... Is Geordie Vicky Going In?
The Only Way Is Essex star crumbles in the jungle after just three nights...
Gemma Collins has walked out of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! after just three days.
The 33-year-old star of The Only Way Is Essex had struggled to come to terms with life in the jungle and dramatically threw in the towel yesterday.
She had suffered a bad case of nerves during a helicopter flight into the Australian jungle where the show is filmed - and had later panicked that she was suffering from malaria after getting a stomach upset.
A spokesperson for the show said: "We're sorry to see Gemma go but respect her decision and wish her well."
However show bosses appear to have a replacement (or two) up their sleeves already - because celeb-watchers have noticed that former Geordie Shore cast member Vicky Pattison is flying out to Australia.
The 27-year-old reality star has posted snaps on her Instagram feed about getting her nails done so she is "ready for Oz" and last night tweeted: "Byeeeeeeee uk!!!!!!!"
And previous reports that The X Factor reject Jake Quickenden would be on the show have been firmed up following a sighting of the hunky singer at a hotel in Queensland.
Jake is reported by the Daily Mail to be in line to enter the show along with former Conservative MP Edwina Currie.
Meanwhile, back in the actual jungle, rapper Tinchy Stryder has braved the latest Bushtucker Trial - dubbed the "chamber of horrors".
He had to delve through creepy crawlies or piles of rotting meat to earn meals for his campmates.
And he was heard complaining to the camera: "Why did the public want to do this to me, what did I do?"
However you'll have to tune in to the ITV show this evening to see how well he gets on.
