I'm A Celebrity Contestants Turn On Matthew Wright
TV presenter blasted for 'scab' comment while trying to organise protest...
Matthew Wright has been given a roasting by his fellow contestants on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The broadcaster upset Kian Egan and several others by nagging them to take part in a "protest" over the show producers' refusal to remove a rain canopy from the camp.
Wright branded Westlife singer Egan a "scab", but was berated for interrupting Lucy Pargeter's triumphant return to camp after winning 10 stars in a Bushtucker Trial.
He had said: "If we all take our mikes off we'll soon find the canopy will come down pretty quick. Are you with me fellows, revolution aye?"
But when Egan refused he said: "That's solidarity brother, that's what happened with industrial relations in this country, scabs like you."
However Egan hit back, telling Wright: "You are the only person who wants to do it! Lucy has just come back from the trial, we should listen to her speak! Let her talk about it. Your attitude is unnecessary."
And Alfonso Ribeiro backed him up, saying: "Every day we look forward to that person going out and coming back and having all of us support them when they came back in. Lucy didn't have us support her when she came back in and that is not acceptable.
"You will tear this camp apart if that continues to happen. Kian was trying to do it and he was shut down and became a scab because he was giving her her moment."
Meanwhile tensions have also been rising between Amy Willerton and Annabel Giles.
Amy complained to Alfonso: "Annabel hates my butt.
"She's too busy sucking up Joey's ar**hole. As soon as she found out how many fans Joey has, she has started sucking up his ar**hole instantly.
"It makes me sick. The way she speaks to me, she would never speak that way to Joey."
We told you yesterday how Amy had been crying in the camp.
