Those viewers who voted for Gillian were told they can receive a full refund, with some cynical fans of the show suggesting McKeith only fainted to avoid doing the trial.
Meanwhile, actor Nigel Havers has since quit the I'm A Celebrity jungle, after viewers on last night's show saw the former Coronation Street star debating his future on the show.
