I'm A Celeb's Kendra Wilkinson: 'I Earned $500k As A Stripper'
Former Playboy model opens up to campmates about her early career...
The 29-year-old former Playboy model and reality TV star - who was Hugh Hefner's "girlfriend" - was telling the other contestants what she did before she became a celeb.
"I had three jobs before fame. I was (working in a) fast food pizza (place), I would flip the pizza and put it in a box. And I was a dental assistant.
"After that I was making some good money, better than pizza and I just woke up and said 'I wanna strip'," she admitted.
"I'm just like a free spirit and I wanted to see how much I could earn. I like to party so I looked up my nearest strip club and I told my boyfriend I'm just going to call and see what happens.
"So I call and I'm like 'how do I become a stripper?' - So they're just 'come in and we'll talk to you'.
"So I go in the next day and I'm big eyed and these girls are like women on the poles doing the stuff and I go in and the guys were really nice.
"They were like, 'hi honey, how you doing?' I'm like, 'I just want to try it'. All you have to do is get a licence, go downtown first.
"In the US when you turn 18 you're allowed to go and get a stripper licence so when I turned 18, I went and did that and it took off. And all my clothes took off too."
She claimed that she estimated she had made $500,000 by the time she jacked it in and went into the Playboy Mansion.
"I just kinda walked around the pool, took my clothes off and give a little something and the money just kept flying at me," she said.
And she emphasised how easy it had been for her to get into the profession.
"There's two things - registering to become a stripper and registering for a gun are the two easiest things you can do in America," she said.
"To be honest it's pretty easy to get your stripper licence. I mean even Edwina could get one!"
