Despite all the backlash against Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull and THAT alien-packed ending, a fifth Indiana Jones movie is still on the cards. In fact, it’s going to be Steven Spielberg’s next project, with the director targeting a 2020 release date.

According to reports, cameras will begin rolling on the new movie in 2019, with Harrison Ford attached to return for one last outing with the whip and fedora. Once that film is in the can, Spielberg will then move on to his West Side Story remake, which is still without a confirmed release date.

There’s no word on whether Shia LaBeouf will also be making a return, although after that scene with the CGI monkeys, he might be wanting to give it a wide berth.

Hopefully Spielberg and Ford can rekindle the old magic of the original trilogy for this one. Aliens or no aliens.
