Ibrahim opened the East London Cafe in May 2016 and, understanding the large part unemployment plays in homelessness, he offers out the opportunity for people to gain hospitality skills at the cafe and has hired several people who have slept on the streets at some point in their lives. What’s more, Second Shot offer a ‘Pay It Forward’ system, where customers are encouraged to buy an extra coffee or meal for their growing number of homeless visitors.
Check out their stimulating stories for more inspiring ways to donate @secondshotcoffee.
