Instagram Launch Focus Feature To Take Super Sharp Portrait Images
This will do wonders for our selfies.
Let’s face it, anything that can improve our Instagram game is giant step forward for mankind.
The social-media platform have now decided to drop a Focus feature that will make all selfies look like they’ve been taken on a professional camera in an Annie Leibovitz studio.
Let's get checking out whether a bunch of grown adults can pass a GCSE exam...
The mode is located next to the superzoom setting and will essentially blur the background on images and videos to ensure a viewer’s attention is fully focused on your above average cheekbones.
In a statement, Instagram said: “As soon as there’s someone in the shot, you’ll notice the person stays in focus while the background softly blurs. Simply tap to take a photo or tap and hold to record a video.”
Here’s what the results will look like:
Another slightly less exciting (but also pretty cool, lbr) feature is something called the @mention sticker.
This gives users a new way to tag their pals in an image, with the resizable graphic being located in the usual sticker tray. Tap it, find the user you’re searching for, and press enter.
The updates are being rolled out today and will be available on iPhone 6S and up and select Android devices.
