Kendall And Kylie Jenner Aren't Here For The Instagram Timeline Update Either
They are not happy and they don't care who knows.
If all this talk of Instagram changing their timeline to have an algorithm-based feed more like Facebook has got you freaking the hell out, you aren't the only one fearing for your likes.
A fair few celebs have also been speaking out against the proposed changes this weekend, and that includes social media queens Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
If you've missed this one, Instagram have revealed that they are considering swapping the chronological feed for something that shows more popular posts - or the posts they think you will be most interested in - first, similar to the way the news feed on Facebook works.
The idea behind this is to help you see more from the people you follow, as at present the app reckon most of us miss about 70% of the posts from people we follow.
"If your favorite musician shares a video from last night's concert, it will be waiting for you when you wake up, no matter how many accounts you follow or what time zone you live in. And when your best friend posts a photo of her new puppy, you won't miss it," Instagram explained on their blog.
But the question of how they will know who your best friends are and which artists you're really most interested in has got many confused and has had people questioning whether it'll just end in us missing just as many, if not more, posts than before.
A bunch of celebs are just as confused at the major change in the way the app works and both Kylie and Kendall have spoken up, with Kylie sharing concern that this alteration will only really benefit companies with commercial means to pay to advertise at the top of people's feeds and not real people using the platform.
What with their having over a 100 million followers between them and with Kenny having the most-liked Instagram photo of 2015, it's no surprise that Instagram appear to be listening to their fears and following their tweets and a fair amount of objection from many others, the brand tweeted to reassure users.
But what do you reckon - ok with the changes or agree with Kendall and Kylie? Let us know with a tweet to @MTVUK.
