Insurgent stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James have admitted that they're action junkies.

Speaking to MTV about which aspect of filming The Divergent Series they liked the most, both enthused about getting stuck into the stunt work as much as they were allowed.

"I really enjoyed the action scenes in this one, because they were so different than the last film," Shailene told us.

"They didn't even feel as physical to me, they felt more demanding as far as agility goes and whatnot.

"We do as much as we possibly can before insurance steps in and doesn't allow us to continue."

[related]The actress continued: "It's amazing technology - the director has a pre-visual of what it's going to look like and that's what they base the stunts on.

"So the sequences where Tris is chasing her mother in the house, or Tris is fighting Tris - the entire thing is played out in animation and our job is to replicate it."

The Divergent Series: Insurgent is in UK cinemas now.
