The star is pictured standing in a snowy scene at night time, wearing jeans and a T-shirt while looking skyward.
It is accompanied with the message "Happy holidays from Tony Stark".
A recent image released from the film show's Downey Jr's character bloody and battered in his Iron Man suit.
The movie will be released in UK cinemas on 26 April.
