The soul man and South Park voice passes away aged 65

Isaac Hayes- legendary soul singer and the voice of South Park character Chef- has died in Memphis at the age of 65. He was well known for Theme From Shaft which he wrote and performed. Hayes also wrote classic soul hits for other artists through the 70s including Hold On, Im Coming and Soul Man. From 1997 he was the voice of Chef in South Park regularly delivering the funniest lines and singing hits like Chocolate Salty Balls. He left in 2007 because of an episode of the show which mocked his religion Scientology. Hayes was found dead at 7.08pm GMT yesterday. His cause of death is not known.
