Kings Of Leon To Headline Isle Of Wight Festival 2014

Nashville rockers join Red Hot Chili Peppers and Biffy Clyro at the music event...

Kings Of Leon have been announced to headline Isle of Wight Festival 2014.

Caleb Followill and Co are the third act to be confirmed to front the event, with Red Hot Chili Peppers and Biffy Clyro also set to top the bill.

The Nashville rockers previously headlined the festival back in 2011, with this year's gigs set to take place from June 12-15 at Seaclose Park in Newport.

John Newman, Clean Bandit, Travis and Gorgon City are among the names also confirmed to perform.

Promoter John Giddings said: "Three words define this year's headliners - rock the Wight.

"The bill is truly eclectic, we have something for everyone, new and emerging talent mixed with established artists."

Brand New For 2014 champions The Vamps, Rudimental, Dappy, The 1975, Passenger, Lawsonand Neon Jungle will also perform throughout the weekend.
