Lady Gaga has announced she will be headlining the 2013 iTunes Festival on September 1.

The Applause singer tweeted that she will hit the stage at London's iconic Roundhouse venue in Camden to perform "one hour of all new music."

Gaga wrote: "I'M HEADLINING ITUNES FESTIVAL ON SEPT 1 AT ROUNDHOUSE IN LONDON. ONE HOUR OF ALL NEW MUSIC. ‪#UKMonstersGetReady"

She even spilled some details on what to expect from the set during an interview with Carson Daly on AMP Radio.

She said: "I worked so hard on this music and I've spent a year on it now and it's going to be thrilling and exciting for me to be able to play it live for the first time."

"The fans will fall in love with it through the live performance and hopefully love the record and want to buy the HQ versions of each song."

This will be Mother Monster's first full live show since [uuid=4740be8d-5f9d-4321-a55a-6a2eeabeaf74]undergoing hip surgery in February[/uuid].

Lady Gaga will perform her new single Applause, the first track released from her highly anticipated album ARTPOP, [uuid=89ee6edd-9bd6-429f-a472-2b0190a4d55e]at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards[/uuid].
