Number one singer Iyaz has said he could help Cheryl Cole crack the states by introducing her to his mates.

Speaking to the Daily Star the Replay crooner said: “I don't know too much about Cheryl's music. However, I hear she's very talented and very beautiful.

“So I would love to meet her while I'm in London. Then when she is over in LA I can introduce her to all my music industry friends.”

The star’s Replay track beat Sidney Samson’s Riverside to the top of the UK charts this Sunday and according to new figures looks set to stay there for another week.
