James Arthur Releases Acoustic ‘Recovery’ Video

A lot less wordy than the title of his previous track…

James Arthur knows when he’s onto a winner. After a video went viral a few months ago of James performing an acoustic version of Wrecking Ball, he’s just released a video featuring an acoustic version of his next single, Recovery.

The track was co-written with Ina Wroldsen, who has worked with a host of X Factor alumni, including Little Mix and Leona Lewis, as well as artists such as Pixie Lott and JLS. Recovery will be the second single off James’ self-titled debut album, following You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You, which last month got to number 2 in the charts.

Poor James has some recovering of his own to do after he was diagnosed with acute exhaustion last week, which led to him cancelling a week’s worth of planned appearances.

Fingers cross he’s on the mend as he’s scheduled to perform on the X Factor results show this Sunday (December 1).
