James Arthur Spills On Love, Regrets & Life In The Public Eye

J-Arth sat down with us after his awesome cover session for an exclusive interview...

Earlier this week we premiered our awesome James Arthurlive session where he absolutely nailed covers of Sia's 'Chandelier' and Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me Like You Do', plus performed a new, original track 'Certain Things' for us.

While he was here we sat down with the 'Impossible' chart-topper for an exclusive interviewto talk life after X Factor, feeling the wrath of the mediaand whether he has any regrets...

"I'm trying this thing where I don't regret as much 'cause it doesn't really work that well to regret things," he told us,"so I'm trying to move forward really and I'm really hoping that other people can join me in moving forward.

"I've made mistakes and I'm very aware of them and I've tried to better myself from those mistakes."

After media speculation last year onbeef between him and 'X Factor' boss Simon Cowell he said: "I think a lot of things get blown out of proportion in the media," adding, "I've always maintained a good relationship with Simon Cowell and obviously I have a great respect for him and his show provided me with a platform to reach a lot of people, so I have the upmost respect for Simon Cowell.

"We actually have a healthy relationship and always have."

Speaking of 'Certain Things'the original track, which he performed for us, he revealed:"I've been in love before, I feel a bit weird talking about the ins and outs of it, of a personal relationship, but it's about love and I've certainly been there myself before and it's a good feeling."
