Louis Walsh Tells James Arthur: 'Be Grateful'
The X Factor judge slams last year's winner over his conduct...
Louis Walsh has torn a strip off James Arthur, labelling the singer "ungrateful".
Veteran pop manager Walsh, who has been a judge on the talent show since day one, let rip at J-Arth in an interview with OK! magazine.
He said: "He's a competition winner that got lucky. He came from a little bedsit, he should be a lot more grateful and a lot more respectful."
Asked about Arthur's public spats with other celebs and his recent homophobic rap lyrics, Walsh said: "Don't get me going.
"Nicole worked so hard with him last year – she got him into the final. He doesn't look comfortable in his own skin.
"He has talent – Impossible was a huge song; dare I say it, he made it his own! – but he’s not Bob Dylan.
"I hope he’s learned his lesson. You can't be slagging off One Direction, you can't slag off success. I think they're good role models and show the pop business is alive and well."
Rylan Clark recently came to J-Arth's defence and insisted his pal is not homophobic.
