James Blunt's Mass Mail-Out Blunder!

Twitter was sent into a frenzy earlier today when an unsolicited email containing a link to James Blunt's new single Bonfire Heart was sent out to thousands of people by mistake!

 

After baffled recipients took to the social networking site, Blunt's label Warner Music revealed that the email - entitled 'I'd like you to be the first to hear my new single' - was distributed due to a "clerical error."

 

A label spokesperson told Digital Spy: "This morning an email regarding James Blunt's new single was sent to users who have subscribed his mailing list."

 

"Due to a clerical error, the email was accidentally serviced to some users who had subscribed to mailing lists for other Warner Music artists."

 

39-year-old Blunt later commented on the gaff, tweeting: "Oops... Just emailed the whole of the UK by mistake! Ha!"
