00-Heaven: New James Bond Movie Name & Cast Announced

Christoph Waltz, Monica Belluci and more join the cast...

Excuse us for the punnery, but we're in 00-Heaven right about now.

The official title for the 24th James Bond film has been announced, along with the cast - and it's a doozy.

Sam Mendes took to the Bond stage at Pinewood Studios to announce the new title... ' Spectre' (we audibly 'oohed').

The cast is a corker, too - Daniel Craig, Ben Whishaw, Ray Fiennes and Naomie Harris all return in their Skyfall roles, while Sherlock star Andrew Scott is joining the cast as Whitehall employee Denbigh, Guardians of the Galaxy meathead Dave Bautista is joining as Mr Hinx, and Christoph Waltz will play Oberhauser.

[related]And as for the new Bond ladies, they're suitably stylish, stunning and sexy - Monica Belluci will star as Lucia Sciarra and Lea Seydoux will play Madeleine Swann.

The film will start shooting from this Monday morning, and it's another globe-trotting affair, flinging Bond into action-packed situations in London, Rome, Mexico City, Morocco, Austria. Oh, and there's a brand spanking new car, too - the very swish Aston Martin DB10.

Spectre is set for release in November 6th 2015.
