Christoph Waltz will reportedly star opposite Daniel Craig in the next James Bond movie.
According to The Daily Mail, the Django Unchained star will play a 'significant' role in Bond 24, and that filming will begin early next month.
It is currently unknown what sort of part Waltz will portray, with Mail reporter Baz Bamigboye adding that his character will be a complex one.
He claimed that an insider on the movie told him: "It’s not immediately evident whether the part’s friend, or foe, or a bit of both."
A separate source also claimed that Christoph's character will be "extremely cunning" and "a nemesis of sorts", while another Bond 24 mole added: "Not so fast . . . just because he has played bad guys in other movies doesn’t mean he’s going to be the baddie here."
The Mail concludes that Craig and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have already met Waltz, with the rest of the cast - including Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris - set to meet for a script read through in just under three weeks.
