Daniel Craig: 'I Cried At Adele's Skyfall Theme'

Bond star admits he got emotional when he first heard title track...

He may be as hard as nails when he plays James Bond on the big screen, but actorDaniel Craighas admitted coming over a bit emotional when he first heard Adele's [uuid=e937057c-473a-43bb-aae4-9b7572f9815c]theme song[/uuid] for Skyfall.
Speaking to Yahoo!, the star relived the moment that the song was played to him, saying: "I cried. From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I'd wanted from the beginning.
"It just got better and better because it fitted the movie. In fact the more of the movie we made, the more it fitted it."
And director Sam Mendes gave an interesting insight on Adele's approach to the song.
He explained: "She came in very early before we started shooting and her main concern was, 'I write songs about myself, how can I make a 'Bond' song?'
"My answer was, 'Just write a personal song!' Carly Simon's 'Nobody Does it Better' was a love song."
Meanwhile producer Barbara Broccoli has confessed that the team behind the Bond franchise would "love" to get Mendes to direct more of the movies.
She told Digital Spy: "We'd love to have him back. He's been a terrific director."
And sultry Bond girl Berenice Marlohe has revealed that recently married Craig was initially modest when it came to filming their sexy shower scene together.
She said: "He was very shy and when he saw me entering the shower, he was like, 'Oh my God'.
"He tried to keep his underpants on for the shower scenes but I said 'No, come on, don't be shy. I will do anything to make you feel comfortable'."

The movie had it's world premiere earlier this week.
