James Franco Apologises To Bieber For 'Boyfriend' Spoof

James Franco has issued an apology to Justin Bieberafter he spoofed the teen idol's video for his hit single, Boyfriend.

As we previously reported, a clip of Franco dressed as Biebs and cavorting with Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson hit the internet earlier this month, with the 34-year old lip-synching his way through JB's track.

Speaking at the Sundance Film Festival, Franco has said sorry to Justin for starring in the parody - with the actor confirming he was asked to remove the clip from his WhoSay site.

When asked about the Bieber spoof by E! Online, James claimed: "I was asked to take it down by some people. Bieber didn't contact me, but I don't think he was too happy.

He then went on to add: "I wasn't trying to diss him."

Despite Franco's comments that the 18-year old was unhappy with his spoof, it has been reported that Justin is yet to see the video.
