Hollywood star James Franco got tongues wagging on Instagram yesterday after joking that he and Lana Del Rey had got hitched.

There have been rumours that the pair have been dating since Lana split from her long-term boyfriend back in June - and Franco seems happy to play along.

The Spring Breakers actor posted a photo of himself with the gorgeous singer, captioning the pic: “Oh snap, we got married.”

But to stop the rumour mill going into overdrive, he added: “JUST KIDDING!!!”

She may not be his blushing bride, but according to Us magazine, the Ride singer did join James for a screening of his new movie Child Of God, before heading to the after party at his New York hotel room.
