James Franco Shares Spoof Zac Efron Dating Story

James Franco loves a prank - and his little brother Dave Franco has found himself on the receiving end of his latest wheeze.

The 36-year-old movie star has shared a mock-up of a web news page about Dave dating his Bad Neighbours co-star Zac Efron.

The image - which appears to be a doctored story from Hollywood Life - has the headline "Zac Efron Dating 'Neighbors' Costar Dave Franco".

And it also contains a snap of the pair sharing a laugh on their "date" at a sports event.

The creator of the spoof article is unknown - but it has the byline "Dave Francock" and a thumbnail image of James Franco.

The plot thickens.
