North Korea Angry With James Franco And Seth Rogen
Hollywood pair face wrath of Kim Jong-un over The Interview...
The Interview sees the pair playing two talk show hosts who become undercover agents and are charged with killing North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
However the North Koreans don't appear to be seeing the funny side of the movie's plot.
The Telegraph reports an unofficial spokesperson for the much-criticised regime as saying: "There is a special irony in this storyline as it shows the desperation of the US government and American society.
"A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the US has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine.
"And let us not forget who killed Kennedy – Americans."
And the spokesman - Kim Myong-chol - even attempted a bitter joke of his own.
"In fact," he added, "President Obama should be careful in case the US military wants to kill him as well."
Rogen has tweeted: "Apparently Kim Jong Un plans on watching #TheInterview. I hope he likes it!"
