Guy Ritchie 'Wants Jamie Dornan To Play King Arthur'

Director reportedly keen to snag services of Fifty Shades hunk...

Guy Ritchie is reported to be desperate to cast Jamie Dornan in his planned King Arthur movie.

The Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels filmmaker is claimed by The Sun to be keen to sign the Fifty Shades Of Grey star to play the mythical monarch as the lead in his blockbuster.

A source said: "Jamie is hot property in Hollywood. Guy was completely blown away when he met him and wanted to offer the part immediately.

"Jamie is keen on the role, too, and his US agents are keen to work out a deal where he'll be able to do both franchises.

"They have to convince Universal to allow Jamie to make the film with Warner Brothers, which isn't looking promising."

Dornan is signed to a three-movie deal with Universal for the Fifty Shades series.

And the paper's source also claimed that Dornan would like to flex his muscles beyond the bedroom.

"Jamie is keen to take on other roles and prove that he's an adaptable actor," the mole said.

"He fears the huge Fifty Shades franchise will be all he's associated with."
