A two-and-a-half minute teaser trailer has been released for the new remake of Annie.

Starring Quvenzhané Wallis as little orphan Annie and Cameron Diaz as bossy Miss Hannigan, the movie also features Jamie Foxx as a smooth businessman who befriends Annie in order to get publicity as he runs for mayor.

But it seems that things don't quite go as he planned as he becomes embroiled in her life and that of mean-spirited Miss Hannigan.

Produced by Jay-Z and Will Smith, the feelgood movie is directed by Will Gluck and is set to be released in time for Christmas this year.
