Jamie Foxx Rescued A Man From A Car Which Burst Into Flames Five Seconds Later
THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED.
Jamie Foxx found himself playing a real life action hero last night, pulling a man from a car that was about to burst into flames.
And no, this isn't just the plot for his next film.
The Oscar winner helped rescue Brett Kyle from his pick up truck, which had crashed and rolled into a ditch near Foxx's home.
He later told reporters that the vehicle went up in flames "within five seconds" after he pulled him from the scene.
"I don't look at it as heroic", he told the media, "I just look at it like, you know, you just had to do something. And it all just worked out.''
"I told him as we were talking, as I'm getting him out, I said 'you've got to help me get you out because I don't want to have to leave you'", Foxx said.
Adding: "And I said 'You've got angels around you.'''
The driver of the car has broken bones and a punctured lung, but is expected to make a full recovery.
JAMIE FOXX IS A HERO. FOXX FOR PRESIDENT.
