Jamie Foxx To Play Mike Tyson In Biopic?

Actor reported to be in talks to play troubled heavyweight...

Jamie Foxx could be portraying "Iron" Mike Tyson on the big screen if casting rumours are to be believed.

And the report seems to have a bit more credibility than most, because the source is none other than the boxer himself.

He told The Mirror: "Me and Jamie Foxx are in discussion, and we gonna do it.

"Within a year to 18 months, we're going to do the Mike Tyson story and he's going to portray me, and now they have this new animation; because you know Jamie's pretty much my age so he can't portray me but they have this new system."

Tyson - who became the youngest ever world heavyweight champ at the age of 20 - is now 48, while Foxx is 46.

But filmmakers are expected to use similar computer effects to the ones used in Brad Pitt movie The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.

Foxx, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Ray Charles in 2004, has apparently asked Iron Mike to train him personally for the role.

But he will also get a helping hand from CGI when it comes to his physique, the paper reports.
